Make sure to make a back-up copy of the map.

Base tutorial:
1) First you need HMT. 2) Then you open HMT and open the map you want it in. 3) Then goto window at the top of the screen and click dependency swapper. 4) Scroll down till you find 'weap' (the weapons tag) an open it. 5) Open the plasma pistol. 6) Now a load of tags come up. You will notice two called 'proj' which are what the gun fires in both its fire modes. 7) The first one that says plasma bolt is the fisrt fire so click it. 8) Then in the text box at the bottom of the window type scen (this is the scenery tag). It changes the 'proj' to 'scen' and then click the scroll down menu beside the box which should now be blank. 9) Select whatever scenery you want, I used the 'tree_leafy_fallentrunk' for the log as it is a good building block. 10) Then just quit HMT and try the map out on slayer or somethin so you have the plasma pistol, the first fire should fire logs.
NOTE: The secondary charge fire can be changed in the same way as the first, by selecting the 'proj' charged bolt instead. Also you can make the gun spawn other things like vehicles by typing vehi instead of scen. You can even make it fire decoy cyborgs by typing biped or maybe its bipd i dont remember. And selecting cyborg (not the mp one).

Powerful Shotgun:
1) Open any map which you want the powerful shotgun 2) Load the Dependency Swapper (Command+D) 3) Scroll down to the "proj" 4) Select the weapons\shotgun\pellet 5) Find the second "jpt!" tag (Class) and select it 6) Change it to characters\cyborg\melee by using the button at the bottom of the Dependency swapper 7) Quit HMT and play!
NOTE: You can do the same with any other gun aswell, and if you have two players, one could be in the driver seat and have a fun ride and the other can be shotgunning him to heaven!

My way of skinning:
I will be using the Rocket Warthog for an example. 1) Firstly open up any map in HMT 2) Open up the "bitm" section and scroll down to "vehicles\rwarthog\bitmaps\rwarthog" 3) Click preview and then click export and name it rwarthog.bmp (make sure it is .bmp) 4) Load up the rwarthog.bmp in Photoshop or whatever application you are using to paint over and skin. 5) Zoom in 500% and create a new layer 6) Paint over whatever you wish to see on your warthog (it does not have to be perfectly accurate) You can also you blending options to make more of an interesting effect 7) Once you have finished your painting and brushing, go to File>Save for Web 8) Save it as a Jpeg (High-Maximum) 9) Load up HMT again and scroll down to the rwarthog bitmap (bitm) and click inject 10) Drag across your skin (rwarthog.jpeg) and click inject 11) Once you have done that, it should pop-up with a warning that the application must shut down - this means that you have done it correctly. 12) Quit everything and play your games with your skins!

No damage at all:
1) Open any map 2) Load the Dependency Swapper (Command+D) 3) Scroll down to the "bipd" 4) Select the "coll" 5) Change it to "powerups\healthpack\healthpack" or "powerups\ovalshield\ovalshield" 6) Quit and you can try and blow up yourself and your still be alive!
NOTE: The health bar will be it at its lowest and thats something I haven't found out how to solve, there is proberly another way of doing this but this is the only way that I have found out that works.

Here is how you can make a frag grenade shootable with the sniper (Target Practice!!!):
1) Open the map you want, in this case, I'll use Blood Gulch. 2) Open Dependancy Swapper 3) Under Primary Class, go to the "proj" tag 4) Then, under Filename, go to weapons\frag grenade\frag grenade 5) Now, in the final window, go to coll, and it should say "nulled out." Thats good. change it to characters\cyborg\cyborg. 6) now, back to Primary Class. Go to the "coll" tag. 7) Then go to the first one, characters\cyborg\cyborg 8) finally, go to the "effe" tag where it says characters\cyborg\cyborg shield depletion, and change it to weapons\frag grenade\effects\explosion. 9) Open Halo, and practice you're sniper skills. Trust me, its great!
